About Us

We Angelika & Jakob warmly welcomes you to our newly renovated and high-quality furnished holiday apartments.

We would like to contribute to your well-being during your stay by helping you with tips and suggestions if you wish.

Your holiday in our holiday apartments should offer you relaxation and variety and be the most beautiful time of the year.

How it all started...

The history of our property goes back to the period from 1550 to 1579, the reign of Duke Albrecht IV of Bavaria.

When the great-grandfather of today's homeowner found out about the sale of the grain mill in Schleching, he moved to Mühlau in the middle of the 19th century. The trained miller and sawyer laid the foundation for today's property with his purchase and the continuation of the mill.

This was built in 1908 and is about 100 meters from today's ruins of the so-called "old mill". The mill was in operation until 1920 and from around 1880 to 1989 an additional sawmill was added.

At that time, the saw was driven by a pressure pipe, which was supplied with water from the Dalsenbach. With this penstock, electrification also began in Schleching.

The main house has been constantly renovated and redesigned over time.

...and where your journey will take you.

Your holiday takes you to the beautiful mountaineering village of Schleching.

Our two holiday apartments are located in the district of Mühlau, which were completely renovated for you - our guests in 2022 & 2023 and offer 85sqm or 130sqm of space for up to 4 people. Our guests enjoy a wonderful view of the Hochgern and the surrounding mountains from both holiday apartments in a quiet location.

Whether for sports enthusiasts or nature lovers who are looking for a break from the stressful everyday life, the mountaineering village of Schleching and the surrounding area have a lot to offer in every season. Both easy and demanding tours start right on the doorstep of the Mühltaler.

If you also want to experience culture, you should not miss a visit to Herrenchiemsee Castle or the longest castle in Europe in Burghausen. If you would like to explore interesting cities in between, then the beautiful city of Salzburg or the popular state capital Munich are suitable for a day trip.
